COVID-19 UPDATE   

 

On behalf of all medical providers and staff at Buellton Medical Center, I am reaching our to the community during these difficult times. We are here to help you with you medical needs!

 

We take the COVID-19 outbreak very seriously and ask that you do too. Our plan is to continue to stay open for the health of the community, but we ask you to help us. It is important for you to remember that we are NOT an urgent care as we do not have all the necessary equipment, per the State of California requirements. However, we DO try to accommodate walk-ins in between our scheduled appointments. We will continue to see our worker's compensation injured patients along with many other medical issues which include those with hypertension, diabetes, mental health issues, minor wound care, minor orthopedic problems (sprains, strains and we can order x-rays), UTI, women's health issues.  We will also continue doing necessary physicals such as pre-operative, sports and DMV class A physicals.

 

What we do ask of people is to follow the guidelines established by public health and the State of California.  As of June 15th, 2021:

All individuals must follow the requirements in the Guidance for the Use of Face Coverings issued by the California Department of Public Health.  Which for medical facilities, it indicates everyone is required to weak masks while in premises.

For the safety of our staff and patients, we will continue asking our patient to stay in their cars and will be seen in the separate room in the clinic for any symptoms that could be related to COVID-19.

We are also now providing COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Testing in office for symptomatic and asymptomatic patient, as well as for traveling as needed.
